The Executive Committee of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario – GCAO aka Ghana Union extends a special invite to attend the historic launch of the Ghanaian Canadian Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) and the Diaspora Engagement Think Tank (DETT) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday July 29th, 2017.
Launch Venue: Hilton Hotel, 5875 Airport Road, Toronto
Date: July 29th, 2017
Time: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Dress Code: Formal (Business)
We are extending invitations to Business leaders and Professionals in Toronto and from other parts of the country for this event. It is anticipated that representatives from the Government of Ghana, Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments in Canada will attend this event
The Think Tank pillar would create a “skills bank” as well as a forum for Ghanaians to research in order to find solutions to perennial socio-economic issues, hence enhancing the living standards of our community here in Canada. In addition, the Chamber of Commerce will serve as a credible resource and gateway in supporting professionals and the business community seeking to engage in business with Ghanaians or invest in Ghana.
As you would appreciate, these two organizations being launched would accelerate our vision to help the Ghanaian youth, women and men in businesses. It will also promote and enhance the well-being of Ghanaians in the diaspora and in Ghana.
The theme for the event is: “Ghana –Canada Partnership: Breaking Barriers through Business, Innovation & Service”
Please RSVP by July 20th
